Old Posts Buying a used bike - is this a good deal?
Here is a forum in which you can ask for and discuss used bike purchase questions like: Is the price reasonable? What else should I ask for? Can the seller REALLY have just installed a NEW stator on this 28 year old bike I'm thinking of buying?

What this forum is NOT for is listing YOUR bike for sale.

Forum Locked Speed From Stopping Distance Calculator
Used to compute how fast a vehicle is traveling at the start of a known stopping distance. It assumes that all braking is done with a constant deceleration rate (such as would generally be the case if skidding). It also allows you to include PDR (Perception-Decision-Reaction) time, if any.

Old Posts Speed Scrubbed During Skid
It is not intuitive, but skid marks do not represent speed. Instead, they represent energy transformation. That is, they represent the amount of kinetic energy that was converted to heat. This model calculates the amount of speed that is scrubbed during a skid based on the starting speed and drag factors.
