What is the optimal strategy here ? (All three blocks must leave the platform)

One of the barkers told me that aiming at the junction of the bottom and middle blocks on the front right corner is the play.

However in the video above it appears the strike was directly between the bottom front edge of the bottom block and the platform. (Observe the ball rebounding directly back to the player.

I think hitting the platform first so the ball hits the lower two blocks with some upward force is the best bet to disturb the inertia of the top block. It's definitely vital to take out the bottom two blocks with the hit as that is the only way to get the bottom block off the platform. The trick is to disturb the top block enough to keep it from falling straight down.
