Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a website that made it possible to compare and review motorcycles. I am in the market for another bike but am debating between manufacturers. Is there a site out there, by an independent reviewer of course, that allows one to compare bikes. Kind of like a consumer reports for motorcycles?

Any tips would be great!

This magazine site does cruiser reviews:
http://www.motorcyclecruiser.com/
you can search the history too for past articles.
Another site is here, giving user reviews, its not complete, but its ok-
http://www.motorcyclesurvey.com/

Hope that helps

You might try http://www.bikez.com/. They have a pretty large collection of rider reviews.

Hell, I'm as independent as they come, so here's a tip...buy Harley!

My suggestion is to go to a Rally like Sturgis and take the bikes for a ride. You find all kinds of places to read about the bikes so you can narrow your choices to 3 or 4 before you get there.
Once you have narrowed your choices, go to that bikes' website (club or group or whatever) and read what people are saying. Just remember there will be the extremes there too.

The best way I have found is to seach for websites that are specific to the bikes you are looking for. It sometimes takes a while, but I find that if I read though enough posts I will find out all the goods and bads about any bike.

Thanks all I really appreciate it!!

I actually am going to Myrtle Beach Bike Week coming up and I am definitely planning on taking advantage of the manufacturers demo rides.

Thanks again!
