If anyone has trouble making more than one selection, please say so. I think this is the first live poll to utilize multiple selections.

| One thing that you probably have not noticed is that with a multiple choice poll the percentages must be computed based on the number of voters rather than the number of votes. At the bottom of the poll results page it now says 'Total Ballots' instead of 'Total Votes' for multple-choice polls. |

| My helmet is approved to DOT and also to Australian Standard AS1698. I intend to research the differences between those two standards and I'll post what I discover. |

I know this is not a scientific poll, but it's interesting that roughly 3/4 of the U.S. helmets carry a Snell certification. That's higher than I expected.

I'll bet that everyone who wears a helmet also wears seatbelts!
I live in a helmet optional (for some riders) state.
A recent local Police source stated that only 60% of local drivers in Kansas wore seatbelts. (No source quoted).
Helmets may be less than that.
Anyone out there that wears a helmet but not seatbelts?

| Over here both helmets and seatbelts are compulsory. If they weren't, I would still wear both. |
