| No actually wont look at for the first time till saturdayalso looking at a 1997 XLH 1200 with 8200 miles for 3900.00 dont know much about harleys but thought the price seemed kinda low.plus I have friends that had older harleys and were always having to work on them just to ride. is that typicall of the newer ones. These were like 70's and older |

Piglet is a 2004 Sportster 883 with about 14,000 trouble-free miles on the clock. A '97 with only 8200 miles on it is probably a garage gem that gets ridden very seldom. Could be a good deal, but the price does sound low to me. Might want to ask why the bike is being sold. Divorce? Don't ride enough to make it worth while? When was it last ridden?

| well the dealership that has the bikes has 3 locations the 1200 sportster is at the one 6 hrs away so I havent seen it but I did sit on a 883 and unless the 1200 is quite a bit bigger I didnt like it I am 6ft and 240 and it felt like I was swallowing it up (does that make sense) but I did look at and like a 2000 1100 v-star with just over 10,000 miles for 4500.00 but now am waiting to see if the financing goes through for a 2007 Kawasaki vulcan 900 classic. I have had a 500 and a 750 vulcan and liked them both. I should now monday so keep fingers crossed ( do not have great credit not bad but I am putting 2500.00 down |

| well update on it the financing went through but instead of getting the 900 classic I got a 2006 900 Vulcan Classic LT a local dealer/friend had a big fire and had a few bikes that were smoke damage ( a little discoloration on the plastic chrome) anyway full warranty clear title and a price of $6500.00 out the door with only 2 miles on it I have gotten most of the chrome to clean up what hasnt I have or plan to paint have to park it first I picked it up March 2nd with 2 miles as of today 9-17 It has 4624 miles on it and I love it but will sale /trade in this winter for a nomad I want the hard bags |

17,000 miles since January of this year. Last year I did pretty good with approx. 28,000 on the year.
