We have two forums on this site that are optional in terms of your individual participation in them: 'Gun Talk' and 'A Way of Life - Then and Now'.

You may change the way the site deals with those forums (for you) by making changes to your profile.

Click on the 'Profile' button (the second one in the main menu) and you will observe your current profile. At the bottom right corner of that screen there are two option selections - one for each of those forums.

For either or both of those forums, if you have selected 'No', then that forum will not be available for you to see or participate in. Neither will new postings to those forums that you do not wish to participate in be shown to you in the active Topics screen.
