I have two laptops on my desk at work that are pretty much side by side. The one on the right I use mostly for work, it is the slow one. The one on the left I use browse the net. After a while I have learned to use the one on the left with just the left hand, the one on the right with the right hand. Multi-tasking. I can't type messages with just one hand very fast though.

Now as long as they don't block this site with their firewall, I'll be OK. They have a lot of sites blocked and you get this warning screen of possible disciplinary action for trying to access one of those sites. Can be a real pain.

I'm fortunate in that I work from home. To me home is work and work is home. Keeping them separate and still having a life is the challenge.

Hey Don Hud and Indiana Randy,

When using my (work) laptop as long as it does not contain anything that is sexual in content they will not block a website and haul me away to jail.

I also (when I am not in the field) office at of my home and I try to have the message board open and minimized so that I can bop back and forth to see what is happening. It is truly a thing of beauty.

Ciao,

BadaBing

I have strictly an inside/desk job, so I too keep the board minimized, and open it up every once in ahwile to see what's going on. I feel fortunate to be able to do this most days.

I practice from an office in my home, also part time in a hospital, I also have a wireless handheld pc, so I use all three connections to 'stay tuned'

My job is so stressful that, sometimes, you just have to take a little me time to keep your sanity.
