Here is a copy of a very nicely done obituary written by Bob Reichenberg of the TEAM OREGON group at Oregon Statue University.
For many of you this could well be the only information you have about Wendy other than her writings.
It is provided in pdf format.

Thanks for that. Very nice indeed.
For those interested, her Riderchick blog can be found here:

A peek inside the mind of a very passionate rider/writer. Strongly suggest "I am a motorcycle" when you have time. |

I think the best tribute to Wendy, is to save and publish her work in a very accessible way.
That's been done here by James R. Davis.
I hope her family and friends are comforted in some small way by this. |

Wow. I did not know Wendy had passed. I used to read her blog and we had corresponded some. She will be missed.

Was revisiting some of Wendy's posts. Really miss her. Hard to believe she's been gone over 2 years now. Thanks again Jim for providing her archive. |

Slowly, in the five years since her passing, change is coming to the previously MSF dominated field of Motorcycle Rider Training. It appears that the change may in fact be accelerating. Evidence that the programs in Oregon and Idaho, followed by California and now, other states are at long last germinating change in a once rigid environment. Thanks to Wendy and a few other "instigators", positive change is happening.

Absolutely agree.
A few years ago I was a witness in a trial against the MSF when I was confronted by Dr. Ray Ochs outside the courtroom before being called in to testify.
Ochs: "So we're up against you today, huh?"
Me: "It could have been worse, you might have been up against Wendy Moon."
Ochs: "Birds of a feather."
Best compliment I can remember having ever received.
She is missed. |

Would you be able to correct those links or provide them as plain text?
Thanks! |

Copy the first line and enter into search and they should come up. Sorry, that's the best I can do with PDFs. |
