The video compares riding a motorcycle to piloting an airplane. This was a concept that was not received well by MSF 40 years ago when it was stressed by some, including myself, that rider training should be more akin to training pilots, rather than a minimal program that enabled a person to ride at low speeds on a "parking lot". If the MSF is serious, they will realize the the "rider coach concept" needs to be re-examined to incorporate exercises competency levels more akin to flight instructors performance expectations.

This is not to say that rider training and instructor competence has not evolved over the past 40 years, in some states and programs it has. There are some instructors that perform to very high levels. In fact some states programs significantly exceed the the "minimal" requirements and expectations of the MSF.

Wonder if it's just MSF's way of warming up to the military since the traffic safety contracts are about to be back up for bid.

Is it my imagination, or does he say "I wear the right gear" or some such wording, then ride off in a flying suit? Is road rash common in place crashes?
