Yes, Lassen Volcanic National Park.
Mount Lassen erupted in 1915 and wiped out a large area to the north. It was erupting off and on from 1914 through 1917. There are still a number of mud pots, hot springs, sulphur vents, and other stuff like that there.
It is also interesting that quite a few national parks have volcanic connections in one way or another.

Channel Islands National Park.
That was Santa Cruz island on the east end. On a given day, you go to whichever island the ferry goes to and we felt lucky to even get out there at all, since we didn't have a confirmed reservation until the day before. The best way to see those islands is to camp there. Day trips only give you enough time for one good hike.
This next one could be a little difficult. The important part of it is beyond the trees.
